Two dresses from the late fashion designer Alexander McQueen are expected to fetch additional than £30,000 when they’re auctioned at Bonham’s this month.
The dresses, which were inspired by the Salem Witch trials of 1692, are among the initial to be sold because McQueen died in February.
First on the garments, described by Vogue as the “Queen on the Night” at Paris Fashion Week, is covered with gold sequins and anticipated to fetch in between £12,000 and £18,000.
