Along with his chess activities world number one Magnus Carlsen has started a modeling career. The Norwegian 19-year-old was hired by the international fashion brand G-Star. In a campaign launched today in Berlin, Carlsen world famous stars, along with actress Liv Tyler.
The news was embargoed until today, when the official launch of the new G-Star campaign was held in Berlin, Germany. But recently the Norwegian newspapers were the first to tell the world: Magnus Carlsen was hired by G-Star in her latest male model. The Norwegian is starring the Hollywood actress Liv Tyler, famous for the Lord of the Rings and many other films. The picture of the campaign was carried out by the star photographer Anton Corbijn.
“I think I look tough,” Carlsen said to a reporter from NRK Sports, standing before a giant photo of him. The contract with G-Star, which was signed on 01 February but kept secret until today, is this year’s autumn and winter collection includes one of the greatest spectacles in the world of fashion.
