Poor Charlize Theron. Her option of outfit for the Oscar is, once again, the topic of conversation among many individuals. And most have damaging things to say about her Christian Dior strapless dress featuring two big rosettes!
South African designer Abigai Keats opined, “What is the point of those roses? Honestly, they appear stupid. So many South African designers would [have been] honored to dress her but instead she attends the Oscars in this? Why?’”
Yes, why indeed! The South African actress defended her dress, which was designed by John Galliano, by saying, “I just loved this dress.”
A few years ago, Charlize also triggered a stir when she turned up to the Oscars in a green dress, another John Galliano for Dior, with a humongous bow sitting on 1 shoulder. The fashion critics lambaster her choice.
Possibly Charlize ought to consider parting methods with Galliano… just saying.
